Brittin Lane began writing and creating her own music at around age 14. Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in Colorado, Brittin began playing piano at the age of 3 when she started effortlessly sounding out TV show theme songs on a keyboard. She went on to learn the guitar as well as the ukulele, and began singing around age 11 in a school choir. Brittin released her first self-made extended play at the age of 16 called “The Letter” where each song was written as a letter to someone important in her life.
